“My summer internship with Chemico, at the GM Manufacturing Plant in Spring Hill TN, has been a fun, educational, and positive experience. I have learned so many things about chemical management and how important it is to automotive industries. For the summer, my biggest task was auditing the chemicals being used around the site. I was so surprised to see how many chemicals are used every day.Before my internship, I had no idea that chemicals played such a big role in the production of cars. Along with working on my chemical audit, I helped with taking water samples and checking chemical inventory. The internship program at Chemico has been a wonderful experience.
